2020 Jaguar XJ
As far as luxury cars go, the Jaguar XJ is the total package. It’s stylish both inside and out. It offers lots of power under the hood. Plus, you can enjoy some premium amenities during your drive. How do you know if it’s the right luxury car for you, though? To help drivers in Little Rock, Benton, and Conway decide, Jaguar Little Rock looks at what it’s capable of in this Jaguar XJ review.
The Jaguar XJ offers three supercharged engines. Each one works with a versatile 8-speed transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, but all-wheel drive is also available.
The base powertrain is a 3.0L V6 engine that gets up to 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. With this under the hood, you’ll be able to go from 0 to 60 MPH in only 5.7 seconds. It can also reach speeds up to 121 MPH.
To accelerate even quicker, there’s a 5.0L V8 that goes from 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.9 seconds. This delivers up to 470 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque. This engine reaches speeds up to 155 MPH.
The most powerful option is also a 5.0L V8, but it’s configured to get up to 575 horsepower and 517 lb-ft of torque. This can go up to 174 MPH and gets off the line like it’s on a racetrack. It goes from 0 to 60 MPH in only 4.2 seconds.
The Jaguar XJ has a long, sleek body that’s available in two sizes. The standard wheelbase runs 119.4 inches long, while the long wheelbase is 124.3 inches. Both options are 82.9 inches wide and feature a wide, mesh grill. Each one is also highly aerodynamic at just 57.5 inches tall.
The interior offers seating for up to five people. The standard wheelbase features 41.5 inches of front legroom and 38.9 inches of legroom in the backseats. The long wheelbase also gives the driver and front passenger 41.5 inches of legroom but offers 43.7 inches of rear legroom. Both models also feature a large trunk with 15.2 cubic feet of cargo room.
Leather seats come standard in the Jaguar XJ. To complement them, you’ll have a choice between carbon fiber interior accents and a variety of wood tones. The cabin also has a soothing atmosphere with white and phosphor blue interior lighting.
Power-adjustable front seats can help you get comfortable while a massaging function will help you relax. In the winter, you can warm up with a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and heated rear seats. It’s just as adaptable in the summer with cooled front seats, a panoramic glass roof, and a sunroof.
The dashboard comes with a 10-inch touchscreen for the Touch Pro™ Infotainment system. You can sync your smartphone with Bluetooth® and get turn-by-turn directions with Navigation Pro. There’s also a Rear Seat Entertainment System that features two 10.2-inch screens, a remote control, and a pair of wireless headphones.
